I have finally been able to make some of these and have the time for pictures.
These treats are best served with some whipped cream and berries.
When I was making the cakes for my nephews birthday I made a mistake with the cake batter. I caught it in time to adjust it to sugar cookies. I had added too much butter.
I ended up with three batches of sugar cookie dough. Big adjustment.
I decided to try out all the shapes in my basket to see how they worked. I excluded the Christmas ones since I know how they work.
Here are the results. My daughter and I were also playing and around and testing out different icings and techniques. The techniques need some practice.
