The other day I was doing some baking with the ladies from y church. The recipe for the ginger snaps had gone missing. I thought well, I make them enough that I can probably remember the ingredients. So I wrote them out. Some of the ladies mixed up the dough and started baking the cookies. After awhile they noticed that the cookies were not spreading. Maybe the oven wasn't set right cook them another couple of minutes. Did this a couple mote times finally they were now looking burnt and still not spreading. So when I went home I checked the recipe and I had everything right except I forgot the baking soda!
