I made some Chocolate Almond Crunch without the almonds and called it Chocolate covered toffee. It was on the soft chewy side, not really a CRUNCH. I think this was due to me getting used to my stove. I have switched from electric to gas. Gas is way better once you make the adjustments,
I have now made some Chocolate Almond Crunch that has CRUNCH!
My husband found a new RECIPE for granola bars that he thought might stay together better than the pumpkin pie bars that he finds a little crumbly.
I make a batch and they were even more crumbly than the other ones. I think I will try again and weight them down to really compress them while they are in the fridge. They taste pretty good and can be made with GF oatmeal.
Once again my brother has ordered sugar cookies for work. This time there is a change from the blue and white bullets.
Here I am at the Scugog Christian School's Annual Bazaar. I had a good time meeting people and telling them about the company and the products. The samples of the Ultimate Chocolate Cake were a hit.
