For my birthday last week I got a pizza/bread peel and a pizza/bread stone.
For dinner I thought it would be nice to make homemade pizza using my birthday presents. So I made the dough, I have done this several times before so it was not the new part. So, after making the dough I rolled it out to form the pizza crust and started putting on the ingredients. I then went to put it the in the oven. First I had to get it on the peel. You are supposed to make it on a floured peel. Needless to say it was a tad messy, then I had to get it off the UN-FLOURED peel and onto the stone. This was also messy.
So I have now learned that you make the pizza on the floured peel, which then should nicely slide onto the heated stone in the oven. This would prevent your pizza from coming out like this.
For those who are on a Gluten Free diet it can be a bit harder to get good fiber from grains, since most of the replacement grains are white starches. One way that I have chosen to help my customers is to use brown rice flour in place of white rice flour, kind of like whole wheat vs. white flour.
As can be seen in the table below brown rice flour has twice as much fiber as white rice flour.
